Parking in The Gulch

13 verified parking spots in The Gulch, Nashville: 2 validated and 11 paid. Every one traces back to an official source or a named local, and locals keep it current.

Validated parking

Adele's

Validated at the host stand, but not the bottom lot by 12th Ave S

ValidatedRestaurant1 local confirmed

Adele's validates three places and refuses a fourth, and the fourth is the one people get caught in. Validated: the first two rows of angled parking directly in front of the building, the lot across the street at 1207 McGavock, and the garage behind at 1222 Demonbreun. Get it done at the host stand before you leave. Not validated: the bottom lot closest to 12th Ave S. Their own sign calls it out under an important notice, and adds that the lot isn't available for parking until 6pm Monday through Friday and that your car will be booted or ticketed if you don't register and pay. That lot is Metropolis-run and charges $11.99 for two hours if you end up there. Sign photographed on site 8/23/26. Still unconfirmed: how long the validation covers, and whether you have to dine to get it.

V Modern Italian

Validated inside V Modern, 3 hours. Shared deck, and it fills.

ValidatedRestaurant1 local confirmed

V is on the ground floor of the Modera Gulch building at 820 Division St. Their own FAQ offers 3 hours of free validation in the Modera Gulch deck, but it says 'when spots are available,' so on a busy Gulch night treat it as a bonus and not a plan. Worth knowing the 2025 opening coverage said two hours and the restaurant now says three, so ask when you check in and go by what they tell you.

Paid parking

109 12th Ave Lot

Adele's does NOT validate here, and you'll get booted before 6pm on weekdays

PaidPublic lot (Metropolis)

This is the bottom lot closest to 12th Ave S, and it's the one Adele's tells you not to use. Their sign says it plainly: Adele's does not validate parking in this lot. It also says the lot isn't available for parking until 6pm Monday through Friday, and that your car will be booted or ticketed if you don't register and pay. Adele's validates three other places instead. The first two rows of angled parking directly in front of the building, the lot across the street at 1207 McGavock, and the garage behind at 1222 Demonbreun. Get validated at the host stand. If you're parking here anyway, Metropolis runs it and the ladder read $11.99 for two hours, $16.99 for four, $26.10 for twelve, $54.38 for a day on 8/23/26, all-in with no free grace period. Four hours costs $5 more than two, but twelve only costs $9.11 more than four, so if you're past four, buy twelve. The service fee is the greater of $1.99 or 8.75%, which is higher than the Metropolis lot at Church & Platform at $1.50 or 7%. Same operator, different fee, less than a mile apart. Rates read off app.metropolis.io and the Adele's sign photographed on site, both 8/23/26.

Craig's Nashville

Valet out front, or $2 an hour at the meters if you feed them

PaidRestaurant valet

Craig's runs a valet and the restaurant's own listings name it as the parking option. What they do not publish is the price. One diner reported paying $20 on a Saturday evening, which is a single unverified receipt but a useful gut check if you were expecting $10. The alternative is the meters. This block sits in Metro's paid zone, where street parking runs $2 an hour, and there is a fair amount of it on 9th and the side streets around Gleaves. A local who ate here told us on 8/22/26 that the street parking is the better deal but to watch your clock, because enforcement on these blocks is active and people are checking. That matches what we have seen elsewhere in the Gulch, where the paid zone runs late rather than going free after dinner starts. Craig's opens at 5pm most nights with weekend brunch from 10am, so an evening here will outlast a short meter session. Feed it or move it. Pin is the restaurant, not the valet stand.

Fairfield Inn and Suites Garage

Hotel garage, may be valet only

PaidHotel garage

The Downtown Partnership lists this in its public parking directory, but other listings describe it as valet for hotel guests, and no rate is published officially. Call the front desk before you count on it. If you have parked here recently, confirm it and we will tighten this one up.

Gulch Crossing Garage

Free first hour with the Metropolis app

PaidPublic garage

Right in the middle of the Gulch under the Industrious building, so it is the shortest walk to 11th Ave. Register on the Metropolis app first and the first hour is free, which covers a coffee or a quick shopping run. Paid after that.

Gulch Union Lot (1207 McGavock St)

Premium lot, $9 for two hours on a weekday

PaidSurface lot

Premium Parking location P3707, a surface lot behind the Gulch Union building on McGavock. Premium published a weekday ladder when we checked on 8/13/26: $9 for two hours, $15 for four, $19.50 for six, $24 for eight, $32 for twenty-four. The page is headed Weekday and Premium does not publish a weekend rate for this lot, so do not assume the same numbers on a Saturday. Pay by plate through the Premium app or the CameraPay signs.

ICON Garage

Paid garage, free first hour unconfirmed

PaidPublic garage1 local confirmed

Closest garage to Five Daughters and the 12th Ave shops. Gulch Crossing and Infinity down the street post a free first hour. Whether ICON does is unsettled: sources disagree and we are re-checking in person, so read the sign at the entrance before you commit. Rates are posted on site and in the Metropolis app.

Infinity Garage

Free first hour with the Metropolis app

PaidPublic garage

Register on the Metropolis app before you park and the first hour is free, then it goes paid. Clearance is 6 feet 10 inches, so a lifted truck or a van with a roof rack is not getting in. Tight but workable for a crew cab.

Pine Street Garage

Paid, quiet end of the Gulch

PaidPublic garage

On Pine Street behind the 11th Ave restaurants, so it fills up later than the Demonbreun garages. No rate is published anywhere official, so check the sign at the entrance before you commit.

Puttshack

Street meters start at $2/hr but climb to $5 after two hours

PaidStreet parking

The meters right outside Puttshack are Metro ParkSmart Zone 3, and the sign posts an escalating ladder: $2.00/hr for the first 2 hours, $5.00/hr for hours 3 and 4, $6.00/hr past 5 hours. Credit card transactions carry a convenience fee on top. Pay at the QR on the sign, or text TN1110 to 53242. That ladder is the thing to watch here. Puttshack runs to 11pm most nights and 1am on Friday and Saturday, and nobody plays four courses and eats in under two hours. Budget for the $5 tier, not the $2 one. Read the pole before you park. The sign stack at this corner has a No Parking arrow pointing one way and a Pay Parking arrow pointing the other, so the legal spaces are only in one direction from the post. Sign photographed on site 8/23/26. If you want a garage instead, the Metropolis lot at 109 12th Ave S is a short walk and runs $11.99 for two hours, though it is closed to parking until 6pm Monday through Friday. Pin is Puttshack, not a specific space.

The Gulch Street Parking

Metered, and the price climbs the longer you stay

PaidStreet parking

Metro charges by tier, not a flat rate. The first two hours run $2 an hour, hours three and four jump to $5, and anything past five hours is $6, up to a ten hour cap. So the Gulch is cheap for a quick stop and expensive for a long night. These meters sit inside Metro's Central Parking District as Zone 3 Gulch, which Metro publishes as 24 hour enforcement, so the evening is not free here the way it is in Midtown or Hillsboro Village. Time limits change block to block, so read the sign. One thing worth knowing before a night out: Metro will waive a single parking violation if you left the car and got home by rideshare, taxi, transit or a designated driver, as long as you have proof like a receipt and you file within 24 hours of the ticket.

The Mockingbird

$37.44 for 2 hours in the attached lot. Walk 3 minutes and pay $11.99

PaidRestaurant

The lot attached to The Mockingbird is PMC-run, and on 8/23/26 at 2:18pm it quoted $37.44 for two hours, $48.39 for four, $59.33 for six, $67.40 for eight, $78.92 for a day. Taxes and fees included. That is the most expensive two hours we have found anywhere in Nashville, and you are paying it to eat lunch. The Metropolis lot at 109 12th Ave S is about a three minute walk south and charges $11.99 for two hours. Same neighborhood, same two hours, $25 less. One catch on that one: it is not available for parking until 6pm Monday through Friday, so it only helps you at dinner and on weekends. PMC pushes a loyalty signup on the payment screen offering free late checkout and up to 10% off, which still leaves two hours here above $33. Diners disagree about whether The Mockingbird validates anywhere. One says they wish parking was covered. Another says they parked at the Whole Foods garage, got validated at the restaurant, and still paid $13. Ask before you park rather than after. Rates read off park.parkingmgt.com on 8/23/26. Pin is the restaurant.
