Ask about the validation while you're inside, not on your way out the door, because the line here is famous and an hour and a half goes quicker than you'd think once you're in it. The Belcourt lists that same lot as a pay lot the rest of the time, so the validation is doing real work. Nothing on their page says what happens past 1.5 hours.
