Nashville Yards has no in-and-out either, so moving the car mid-meal starts a new charge. Ask for the validation at the table, not on your way out. The hotel says on its own site that valet is complimentary when you dine with them, which covers Drusie and Darr, the Pink Hermit, and afternoon tea inside the hotel. We scanned the QR here on 8/22/26 and PMC quoted $57.84 for four hours, $63.87 for six, and $69.91 for twenty-four. Read those again. Music City Center is $15 for up to five hours. Fifth + Broadway is $10 for the first hour. White Front runs $10 for ten. This lot is asking about four times the going rate downtown. All three tiers were labeled Boz Scaggs 11-23-25, an event from nine months ago. So either PMC left an event tier switched on and is charging concert prices on an ordinary day, or there's a show tonight and the app has the wrong name on it. We don't know which and PMC doesn't say. The app also says PMC while every Google review of this lot names Metropolis, which is either a change of operator or two lots sharing one address. Pull up the price on your phone before you commit. Nothing here tells you what you're about to pay until you've already scanned. Rates read off the PMC checkout screen on 8/22/26.

Metropolis runs this one and the app posts the whole ladder. On 8/23/26 at 12:12pm it read: 15 minutes free, one hour $16.50, two hours $26.75, six hours $48.15, one day $53.50. Those are all-in numbers. Metropolis states rates include the service fee and any state and local tax, and that the fee is the greater of $1.50 or 7% of the fare. The 15 free minutes are real and useful for a drop-off, but the jump after that is steep. An hour here costs more than a full day at White Front. Two hours costs more than five hours at Music City Center. If you're eating in Nashville Yards, ask about validation first. Ocean Prime validates two hours in the East Garage for $5, which is about $22 less than paying this lot straight. Drivers report the price moves by day and time. One says $24 an hour on Fridays and weekends. Another was charged a full day for a 27 minute stay and was told by Metropolis that full-day rates apply to any check-in between 4am and 2pm. Metro carves an economy zone out of the downtown parking district and almost nobody knows it exists. Everywhere else downtown the meter ladder climbs to $5 an hour at hour three and $6 past hour five. In Economy Zone 8 it stays a flat $2 an hour. Metro's own pay station zone map puts it on two stretches: James Robertson Parkway between 3rd Ave N and Rosa Parks Blvd, and YMCA Way. Those are not next to each other, and our pin sits on the James Robertson stretch. Two catches. Downtown is enforced 24 hours, so evening is not free here. And the ten hour cap is real: you can extend from your phone twice, and once the session runs out the car has to leave the zone for at least thirty minutes. Metro does not publish which days are enforced or how holidays work, so the pay station is still the last word. Worth knowing if you get a ticket: Metro will waive a single parking violation if you left the car and got home by rideshare, taxi, transit or a designated driver, as long as you have proof like a receipt and you file within 24 hours of the ticket. Dream sits on 4th Ave N at the mouth of Printer's Alley, and the hotel's own Hyatt page says it offers valet parking with rates subject to change. It publishes no number and it publishes nothing about validation for the bars or the restaurant. So if you are heading to Parlour Bar for a martini and the Teenie Weenie hot dog tower, or to Stateside Kitchen, Snitch, Sushi by Bou or Dirty Little Secret, expect to pay whatever the valet stand says that night. A local confirmed valet was $15 on 8/20/26. She did not say how long she was parked and the hotel publishes no rate card, so treat that as one person's receipt rather than the price. Worth knowing that $15 is nowhere near the nightly figure booking sites quote, because that one is the overnight guest rate and not what an evening costs. There does not appear to be a self-park deck here, so if you would rather keep your keys, the 4th & Comm Garage is a block and a half south at 147 4th Ave N. Terms read off hyatt.com on 2026-08-20. Earl's sends you to the Church & Platform Lot up the street, which Metropolis runs, and their sign at the QR says the parking is discounted. We scanned it twice on 8/23/26 and both times it quoted the standard ladder: 15 minutes free, $16.50 for an hour, $26.75 for two, $48.15 for six, $53.50 for a day, all-in. Identical to what the lot's own QR quotes with no restaurant attached. We didn't complete a payment, so it's possible a discount lands at checkout. But nothing on the quote screen showed one. Assume you're paying the posted ladder and ask a server how the discount actually works before you settle up. Earl's is open to midnight most days, 1am Wednesday and Thursday, 2am Friday and Saturday, so dinner and a few drinks puts you on the six hour tier at $48.15. There's no in-and-out on this campus either, so moving the car starts a new charge. If you're set on Nashville Yards and want the parking sorted, Ocean Prime a block over validates two hours for $5. The garage under the Fifth + Broadway shops, run by Metropolis, 778 spaces, open 24/7, in from Broadway or Rep. John Lewis Way. Published card: $10 for the first hour, $20 to two, $28 to three, $36 to five, then $42 covers anything from five to 24 hours. Event rates are posted at the garage and are not on the card, so a Preds night or a Ryman show can cost more than this. If you work down here, the $42 is your day rate and there are cheaper all-day options a few blocks north. No monthly rate is published and Metropolis does not put its subscription pricing online, so that one takes a phone call. Watch your roof: the Broadway entrance is 8 feet 2 for ADA access, the rest of the garage is 7 feet, and the lowest point on B2 is 6 feet 7. Validation here is worth asking about. Fifth + Broadway says select restaurants and attractions validate, including the National Museum of African American Music, and tells you to check with the business directly rather than assume. Know which garage you are in before you count on it: there are two on this block, and the Skydeck discount only applies in the above-ground garage at 501 Commerce. Ten dollars for a Predators game, bought in advance through the arena's own page, which makes it one of the cheapest published options anywhere near Broadway on a game night. The catch is that Bridgestone publishes it for Predators games only, and says nothing about concerts or other events, so do not assume the same deal for a show. Height clearance and in-and-out privileges are not published either, so if you are in something tall, check before you commit.

The library's own garage has been closed since the 2025 fire, so the Main Library sends visitors across the street to McKendree. Library visitors pay $4.00 for up to 120 minutes, plus service fee and tax. Scan the QR code inside the garage when you park, then scan a second one near the first-floor Circulation Desk once you're inside. Go over 120 minutes and you're charged the standard garage rate for your whole stay, not just the extra time. First come, first served, and it's an ordinary paid garage if you're not going to the library.

Metro owns and operates this one, under the Historic Metro Courthouse complex, with entrances on James Robertson Parkway and Gay Street. Metro publishes its garage pricing as a range rather than a fixed card: $3 to $20 for an all-day max, $10 to $15 on event days, and $5 to $10 after 5pm when nothing is scheduled. That evening range is the useful one, because the privately owned garages right by Bridgestone and the Broadway strip run well above it. No validation, and Metro does not publish which end of each range applies on a given day, so treat the numbers as a band rather than a price. This is the one worth knowing if you work downtown. SP+ publishes $10 for a 10 hour block, $30 for 24 hours, and $185 a month, with no morning entry cutoff, so it covers a shift whatever time you start. The catch is that the $10 is a prepaid online reservation, not the drive-up price: SP+ says if you stay past your reserved window your card gets charged the difference at drive-up rates, and drive-up rates are not published anywhere. Book the block you actually need. SP+ says nothing about event days here, and downtown garages usually price events differently, so we do not know what a Preds night costs.
